‎তবে কোনো কোনো মন্ত্রণালয় সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে নাম উল্লেখ করে জানিয়েছে, তাদের মন্ত্রণালয়ের মন্ত্রী-প্রতিমন্ত্রীরা আগামীকাল মন্ত্রণালয়ে অফিস করবেন। যেমন সমাজকল্যাণ এবং নারী ও শিশু মন্ত্রণালয়ের নতুন মন্ত্রী আবু জাফর মো. জাহিদ হোসেন এবং প্রতিমন্ত্রী ফারজানা শারমীন মন্ত্রণালয়ে অফিস করবেন। তাঁরা মন্ত্রণালয়ের কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় করবেন। মন্ত্রণালয়ের সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এসব তথ্য জানানো হয়।

আসন্ন জাতীয় নির্বাচনে টাকার অপব্যবহার রোধে মোবাইল ব্যাংকিং সেবা (এমএফএস) ও ইন্টারনেট ব্যাংকিং সেবা সীমিত হচ্ছে। এই সিদ্ধান্ত আজ রাত ১২টা থেকে কার্যকর হবে। ১২ ফেব্রুয়ারি নির্বাচনের দিন রাত ১১টা ৫৯ মিনিট পর্যন্ত এসব সেবা সীমিত থাকবে। বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক আজ রোববার এই সিদ্ধান্তের কথা জানিয়েছে।বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের এই সিদ্ধান্তের ফলে বিকাশ, রকেট ও নগদের মতো এমএফএস প্রতিষ্ঠানের গ্রাহকেরা প্রতিবার সর্বোচ্চ এক হাজার টাকা পাঠাতে পারবেন। এভাবে দৈনিক লেনদেন করা যাবে সর্বোচ্চ ১০ হাজার টাকা। এ ছাড়া ইন্টারনেট ব্যাংকিংসহ বিভিন্নব্যাংকের অ্যাপ সেবা ব্যবহার করে একে অপরকে টাকা পাঠানোর সেবা বন্ধ থাকবে। আসন্ন ত্রয়োদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচন সামনে রেখে এমএফএস ও ইন্টারনেট ব্যাংকিং সেবায় এই বিধিনিষেধ আরোপ করা হয়েছে।কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংকের এ–সংক্রান্ত প্রজ্ঞাপনে বলা হয়েছে, আসন্ন ত্রয়োদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনে এমএফএস ও ন্যাশনাল পেমেন্ট সুইচ বাংলাদেশের আওতাধীন আইবিএফটির মাধ্যমে ব্যক্তি থেকে ব্যক্তি (পিটুপি) লেনদেনের অপব্যবহার রোধের সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে। ফলে আজ রাত ১২টা থেকে ১২ ফেব্রুয়ারি রাত ১১টা ৫৯ মিনিট পর্যন্ত (পূর্ণ ৯৬ ঘণ্টা) এমএফএসে ব্যক্তি থেকে ব্যক্তি লেনদেনের ক্ষেত্রে প্রতিটি লেনদেনের সর্বোচ্চ সীমা হবে এক হাজার টাকা ও লেনদেনের সর্বোচ্চ সংখ্যা হবে দৈনিক ১০টি। তবে মার্চেন্ট পেমেন্ট ও পরিষেবা বিলের ক্ষেত্রে প্রচলিত নিয়ম অনুযায়ী নিয়মিত লেনদেনের বিধান অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে। লেনদেনের বাইরে এমএফএস প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর অন্যান্য সেবা উল্লিখিত সময়সীমার মধ্যে সাময়িকভাবে বন্ধ থাকবে।এ ছাড়া এমএফএসের মাধ্যমে কোনো আর্থিক অপরাধ সংগঠিত হলে তা তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে নিকটস্থ থানায় জানাতে বলা হয়েছে। এ বিষয়ে প্রজ্ঞাপনে বলা হয়েছে, নির্বাচন উপলক্ষে এমএফএস–সংক্রান্ত অভিযোগ গ্রহণ ও নিষ্পত্তিসহ প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের জন্য প্রতিটি এমএফএস প্রতিষ্ঠান নিজস্ব জরুরি রেসপন্স সেল গঠন করবে। এ সময়ে সকল প্রকার লেনদেন এমএফএস প্রোভাইডারের পক্ষ থেকে সার্বক্ষণিক নিবিড় পর্যবেক্ষণের (ক্লোজ মনিটরিং) আওতায় আনতে এবং সন্দেহজনক বা অস্বাভাবিক লেনদেনের ক্ষেত্রে দ্রুততম সময়ের মধ্যে সংশ্লিষ্ট থানায় রিপোর্ট করতে হবে।এ ছাড়া ইন্টারনেট ব্যাংকিং সেবায় (আইবিএফটির মাধ্যমে লেনদেন) ব্যক্তি থেকে ব্যক্তি লেনদেন সম্পূর্ণ বন্ধ থাকবে। এমএফএস প্রতিষ্ঠান ও ব্যাংকগুলোকে নির্বাচন কমিশন এবং আইনশৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনীর চাহিদা মোতাবেক প্রয়োজনীয় সহযোগিতা প্রদান করতে বলা হয়েছে।( সুত্র- প্রথম আলো)
